Summary:
It’s proven to be a versatile, dependable and comfortable vehicle
Faults:
There were two early warranty fixes; a bad rear wheel bearing, and a valve in the fuel vapor recovery failed, and made it difficult to put fuel in it. Both were fixed quickly and without any hassle.
General Comments:
The Equinox has been great during its first 5 years and 112K miles. Other than normal oil changes, tires & brakes and some fluid flushes, the car has performed well.
My wife loves her “Eek”, and uses it for everything, and never thinks twice about heading out on a trip. It’s comfortable and is big enough to tote our 2 medium sized dogs around.
We plan on keeping this Equinox going for another 112K miles.
