Summary:
Very good quality and comfort at low price
Faults:
When I bought the car, it had problems with the stabilizer bar links, but the dealer replaced them without any cost.
At 110000 Km one of the recently stabilizer link failed so I had to replace it again for around 80 CAD.
At 120000 Km I replaced the right lower arm because of a warned ball joint. But I consider all these directions related repairs kind of normal here in Quebec where I live, because the quality of the roads (especially the expressways) is way under poor.
At 130000 Km the primary speed sensor failed so I had to replace it. The cost was 100 CAD (20 CAD tip included)
The left side window motor is working pretty rough, but still up.
General Comments:
I owned before a 1995 Chrysler Intrepid with 3.5l engine, and I was pretty satisfied about it. When I replaced that one with the present owned one, I couldn’t believe that I would do a big step ahead speaking of reliability, but I did. A normal maintenance was enough to keep the car in a excellent shape even if it is a 6 years old car. Due to the harsh weather conditions I use just synthetic oil and it seemed that it was a very good idea. The car runs like new and for those who like comfort, speed and maneuverability, I recommend it with the greatest pleasure. But no to the 2.7l engine. I think that who put that kind of engine inside the Intrepid had a very bad night before adding it to the project so the only engines who fit this car are the 3.2l and 3.5l.
