I gave it a name: mr Frozz. Bought a month ago, lots of tuning plans, but for now I owe too much money, so it will all start in spring, when the auto shows are closer. It took me a year to purchase it. The previous car was naturally killed by a fallen tree, I had to sell what was left. But dreams come true – and here it is. White ST, the car of my dreams.
I’ve already started to update it from sticking the labels of the friendly company. With the mileage growing, I periodically demonstrate its power on the crossings. Our last ‘victim’ was BMW-535 (he asked for it!). Mr Frozz wants more power, but with no money he has to be patient, same as me.
When registering mr Frozz, we had a funny experience: the inspector couldn’t find the engine number – he said he’d never seen the Fords with such a system. Had to call the saloon and ask them to explain where it is.
After buying the car, we went to Smolensk straight away, even with an empty boot. Not even a single key. Our first miles (around 1000) went great – no complains, the car is a real soul-mate.
Part 2.
Well, here we are after 3 months of having this toy. What can I say? The expectations went true, it can outrun almost everyone on the highway. Hard to compare just with the ‘giants’ like STi, BMW M-series, etc. Anyway, mr Frozz was worth every penny. In the nearest future I’m planning to start the tuning: changing the outfits and even the power. I want to update the hp up to 270. All the changes will be reflected in the daily log.
Part 3. About the sound.
A lot of ST owners used to tell me that after 5000 of mileage the engine will get noisy – and it happened. Its sound became bass-like. I keep the car in the closed parking (under roof), and now the neighbour’s Soarer welcomes us with alarm-signal every time. )))))
It’s been a while… Everything’s working fine and making me happy. Changed the spoiler, painted the roof black and the front bumper as RS. Set the music under ‘Pioneer’, set the Art-Sound dynamics. Subwoofer is still home, though amplifiers and the cables have already been installed, too. Don’t have enough time to complete it. What’s next? Carbon hood is under question, I don’t know, how it will go together with the roof. Planning to set the new ‘RadTec’ cooler and the ‘HKS’ blow-off. Surely, will be adding more photos and descriptions in the process.)
