Suzuki has not always been the car manufacturer, its story began from the textile machines’ production. Manufacturing of the textile machines tools has been successfully developing and growing. But despite that fact, Suzuki made a decision: his company has to develop in other directions, as well. In 1939, he created several compact cars prototypes: they were equipped with innovative 4-cylinder, 4-stroke water-cooled, 13 hp power and a volume less than 800 cc engines. After the war, Suzuki went on – but not with the cars, he was thinking of motorcycles, instead. The first Suzuki motorcycle became Power Free. Now, the Suzuki motorcycles are known everywhere. Suzuki cars conquered the auto market much later.
