Volkswagen cars, car reviews Volkswagen
The first Volkswagen cars were developed by Ferdinand Porsche in 1935. They received such a curious name (meaning ‘the car which belongs to people’) because of their reliability and low price. Volkswagen was immediately appreciated by designers, engineers and drivers. On the fore, there have been numerous publications about it in 1938, and in New York Times, the Volkswagen got the resemblance name of a “beetle.” The nickname stuck so well, that became the Volkswagen cars’ business card.
Currently, the Volkswagen Corp. sells more vehicles, than any other car manufacturer in the world. It possesses the factories in 15 countries and also produces the trucks and vans.
